This day in age weddings are no longer about old traditions; weddings are about the bride and groom and a representation of who they are and the life they will soon create as husband and wife. I love how everything I’ve come across lately has been so unique and special. All the wedding details, photographs, and wedding blogs are filled with amazing finds and ideas.
One blog in particular THE CHARITY WEDDING has really hit home for me.
Alicia French is the founder of The Charity Blog and this is hands down one of the most meaningful stories I have ever read! Just go read the about us section and you will know exactly what I’m talking about. Alicia and Kyle made their wedding a reflection of who they are by giving back. They raised money and awareness for several charities during their wedding planning process and asked vendors for money to donate to these charities! This is something they will never forget, and it continues even after their wedding day through her blog. You’ll spend hours browsing her amazing finds! She even has burlap Thursdays! Which is wonderful for all the brides out there searching for unique ways to incorporate burlap into their wedding while keeping it classy and elegant.
